Team Work [RS - Chapter 5]

-Damn. -Joey muttered as he stared at the blood that had been spilled all over the ground.
By the few beasts that were scattered unconscious all over the floor, it was easy to tell that some fierce battle had taken place right where he was. And maybe there could be glowchus that had been hurt during the combat.
-Belle, -he called, looking at the pink Glowchu who was staring blankly at the bloody mess. -Let's search for anyone who needs help. Then we can move on and try to help the others at shore.
-All right! -she nodded, opening her beautiful fairy wings and starting to look for survivors.
Joey searched the place thoroughly, but couldn't find anything. No matter how hard he asked if anyone was hurt, he would get no replies. Maybe no one was hurt or in need of helping. He was about to turn around and leave but, as he did, he heard a powerful roar.
Standing right behind him was a big dragon like pokémon, with a blue body and yellow piercing eyes, who were staring at Joey as if he was their next victim. A Primordial Gabite. He roared once more, showing his sharp teeth and claws, trying to intimidate the Glowchu, but that wasn't quite what happened.
-You're a big one, huh? -he said, taking a first look at the monster before feeling his body being filled with confidence. -But it takes more than size to scare me. -Joey finished, putting his hands together as a purple colored energy sphere started to be formed between them. He threw it quickly at his opponent, but it nimbly avoided the attack.
-So you're quick too. -the purple Glowchu opened his eyes wide, impressed. That guy could cause him some trouble, but he still had the advantage.
The Gabite's claws glowed blue as he tried to scratch the enemy, but Joey managed to jump from side to side really fast, staying out of the beast's attack. But he was starting to get tired and it didn't take more then a few seconds until he was finally slashed at his chest and fell backwards.
-Shit! -he screamed, watching the Gabite come closer. -Enough playing. -Joey growled, putting his hands together once again.
-Joey! -Annabelle reappeared, looking her fallen friend and the monster who was about to attack him, terrified. Without doing much thinking, she put her hands up in the direction of the moon, as her whole body started to glow. She was about to use Moonblast.
-Game over. -Joey smiled victoriously as he fired an Ice Beam towards the Gabite, hitting his chest with such strenght, while Anabelle hit his back with a white-ish beam.
With all that damage taken, the beast ended up falling to the floor, dead.
-You're ok? -asked the pink Glowchu, coming closer with a preocupied look in her face.
-Yeah. -he sighed before a bright smile took place. -Great team work.
The two smiled at each other for a second, before they headed north to look for more people to help.
